Other new Huawei MediaPad door at MWC 2017 X2, a new high-end tablet that contains large computing power and telephone connectivity in the small size of 7 inches.
In the course of this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Huawei has presented new flagships but his presence between the exhibition halls of mobile technology was far from negligible.
Among the various changes introduced by the Chinese company, which is concentrating in producing devices increasingly attractive and the public is getting used to a standard of high quality, it is definitely an important position occupied by the new Huawei MediaPad X2, a small but powerful tablet.
It is the direct successor of the MediaPad X1, cataloged as phablet, and maintains the same format as its predecessor thus presenting itself as a compact and easy to handle; measures, however, are not grounds for compromise between handling and functionality.
Call phablet would be a gamble since the display by 7 inches, yet the MediaPad X2 has a metal body in a compact package with a thickness of 7.2 mm. The screen consists of a panel IPS with resolution Full HD (1920×1080) under which we find a chip HISILICON processor Kirin 930 octa-core 64-bit to 2.0GHz and GPU Mali-T628. Two configurations for memory and storage, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage or 3GB of RAM and 32GB, expandable via microSD.
The MediaPad X2 also has two cameras, respectively from 13:05 megapixel camera, a battery of 5000mAh and, even more important feature, connectivity provided by a telephone modem 4G Cat. 6. The operating system will, of course, Android 5.0 Lollipop.
For a first taste of the new tablet Huawei looks actually like a terminal rather elegant and responsive. Still there is no information on price and availability.
